From her first email inquiry I just knew that this bride is different and it is going to be awesome to be part of their wedding. We had our first meeting more than a year before the wedding. Their wedding date was planned perfectly, giving Knysna time to heal after the raging fires and also the day celebrating their anniversary as a couple. Meeting up in Cape Town for their engagement session was such a treat, you can only have fun with such an amazing down to earth couple.
This was a wedding all about family and friends, confirmed by their choices of prints after the wedding. The ceremony was held in Brigitte’s granny’s garden, making the day extra special.

I fall short in words to describe this day. From the first email I received from Lukie to the handwritten note I received on Saturday, I knew that this couple is a rare gem covered in God’s grace to shine as a light in this dark world. I hope that the images will reflect their kind hearts.
