Midday beach weddings is not always easy to capture, not mentioning the crazy wind! But oh my goodness, this was all just picture perfect! It was such a pleasure to capture this beautiful event, thank you for the honour. Lutho and Mosa asked me to post this note of thanks to everyone who helped to make this day unforgettable:
“To our family and friends.
Thank you for the support, the love and the laughter.
Thank you for celebrating with us on our wedding day, it would not have been the same without you.
We are so grateful for your generosity and for sharing our most special day with us.
We hope you’ve enjoyed the celebration in Gouritsmond.
All our Love
Mr & Mrs Dwesini”
“To our service providers – all of you went over & above what we asked for”
No matter how much you try to plan something, the outcome is never in your hands. Thankfully we serve an awesome God who always know best.
Luan and I initially planned a surprise picnic on friends of mine’s farm just outside Hartenbos, thank you dear Karien for all your help. Everything was set, decor rented, food bought and a beautiful bottle of sparkling wine. The weather was however hectic, rain pouring out every now and again. At the last moment we opted for a spot at Pinnacle Point were Luan and Deidré was staying for a weekend away. I met Luan at Pinnacle three hours before the planned session while Deidré was out for a bit of pampering with Marojean de Bod from MJ Artistry. Once Luan saw the beautiful scenery, as you exit the walkway tunnel, he knew this was the perfect spot to propose.
We were blessed with a break in the rainy weather and the most beautiful light by the time Luan and Deidré arrived. It was such a special moment and surely blessed as everything turned out perfect. Congratulations and thank you that I had the honour to capture this awesome moment. I cannot wait to capture your wedding next year in Swellendam, one of my favourite towns in South Africa.
This was by far the coldest wettest day of the year! But no matter the weather, it turned out to be a gorgeous, warm-hearted, love-filled day! Dear Celia it was such a blessing to be part of your wedding day, thank you for the honour.
Meeting Helgard and Melissa felt like seeing long time friends again. I felt right at ease with this young, fun filled couple. Not even the wind and rain could mute their bubbly personalities. Looking forward to capture their wedding day!
Tristan and René travelled to the Garden Route for friends’s wedding and made use of this opportunity to have an engagement session on the beach. Such a sweet couple, I enjoyed this session so much. Best wishes for the big day, your wedding photographer is going to have a blast!
Looking forward to capture this gorgeous couple’s wedding later this year. Amandus and Adri travelled to Mossel Bay for a conference, the conference was cancelled due to the COVID-19 restrictions but they used this time to meet with all the service providers for their wedding day. Loved meeting them and know that the wedding is going to be awesome!
Stunning couple, gorgeous light and great location. Love everything about this engagement session. Looking forward to capture André and Bianca’s wedding later in March 2020, Bianca is going to be such a gorgeous bride!
Brink and Marli travelled to the Garden Route to finalise some wedding arrangements and meet up with the service providers. This was the perfect time for us to meet face to face and do their engagement session. Marli selected the perfect location to compliment the color scheme chosen for the upcoming wedding. I had a blast working with this stunning couple and looking forward to their wedding later this year.
Wow, hard to believe it’s two years since I captured this stunning couple’s wedding. It was great to see you again! Best wishes for the exciting future ahead and looking forward to capture some more memories.
Ryno and Sarah tied the knot at Kleinbergskloof Olive Estate in Stilbaai, the perfect venue for this elegant couple. The decor was absolutely stunning, classic black and white simplicity with hints of olive green and gold. It was such an absolute honour to share in this blessed event.
