The student council decided to treat their headmaster with a gift-voucher from my studio. Wow, what a stunning family! Loved every minute of this session with them and hope to see them all again.
From couple session, surprise engagement, pre-wedding, wedding, maternity and now newborn. How blessed to capture real life and to see how a couple grow from being in love to becoming mom and dad to such a sweet little baby girl. The super special part about this session was capturing this little guy’s first steps! He is a super happy child, no wonder with such cool parents.
Taking the time to do a bit of a personal project is always rewarding! Inge only wanted a few studio portraits to remember this precious time of expecting their first little one. I asked her to extend the session with a bit of a project for me. The recent fires in Dana Bay was scary and tragic, I am also a Dana Bay resident and was directly affected by this. Another stunning session with a combination of studio and location portraits. Love seeing clients again. The last time I did a session with the Haasbroek family was when this little guy was just a newborn. This time around the grandparents from both sides joined in. Hope you all have a blesses 2017!

Late afternoon session with the Minnaar family. We had to face the wind as this was their last day on holiday in the Garden Route. We were literally eating sand! Thank you for being such great sports! Looking forward to see you all again!
We almost missed our session with the Ferns family. We innitially booked an earlier date, but wind was a nightmare! Fortunately we had a gap on Tuesday with awesome cloudy weather.
I wil never forget this family session. A big family with hearts of gold! The kids were all so awesome. We had a crazy windy day and started with a few formal portraits in the park before facing the wind at the beach. Kind of felt like I had to much to drink with the wind pushing me around. Everybody was so great with the horrible wind and did not complain one bit. Looking forward to see you all again end of 2017.
Booking sessions on the beach during the busy holiday season is kind off risky. The wind was just horrible and we could not reschedule, so I am very thankful for the option of a studio facility. Marissa and her family came all the way from Gauteng to visit the Garden Route for the holliday season. I worked with Marissa 14 years ago, and at that time we both were expecting our second child, it is hard to believe they are both turning 15 in 2017. It was an honour to capture your beautiful family and it was great to see you again. Your girls are so gorgeous! Enjoy the rest of your holiday and travel home safely.
