Marzette was blessed with having her family from all over visiting her and her family in the Garden Route. What a beautiful bunch they are all together, it was very hard to select just a few images to post!

Different, vibrant, happy! These were the first three words that popped to mind when I thought about what to say about my last wedding for 2016. Fanie and Joyce tied the knot in the shadow of elephants and had an array of locations for their wedding portraits. So to say the least I was over the moon to capture this intimate wedding, having the chance to let my creativity flow in abundance! Thank you for a wonderful way to end the wedding season for 2016.
Having a bit of fun at yesterday’s family portrait session. Angie and I have come a long way in our friendship. She shared a very emotional time in my life with me and was a constant support in that difficult time. It was a privilege to capture these portraits for her and her family.

Love the classic feel of these images from a recent mom and daughter studio session. I strongly feel that studio portraits still have a valid place in the photography industry and should not be forgotten. There is something timeless about them and all the focus is on the subject and not lost in the scenery of location sessions.
Nadia’s name means ‘HOPE’. Her life story is a reflection of her name and I was honored to be trusted in capturing her and Johnathan’s day the way I feel is best. The absolute beauty of an expecting mother! We initially planned a session in the forest with a few beach photos afterwards, but things do not always work out as planned. This young couple was on holliday in the Garden Route to celebrate their first year anniverasy and I had the privilege to capture this special time for them. It was beautiful to see how deeply in awe Rinus is with Retha, such an inspiring young couple!
