Loved meeting this gorgeous couple. It was an absolute feast to work with them. I am forever thankful to the person who referred them to me and to my friend Michael for this awesome location. For sure my new favourite photography spot!
We planned for one session but due to the weather, turning out be such a blessing, decided to do a retake. Both were gorgeous and created unique images.
‘The wonder of God’s creation’, no better words to describe these images. From His hand that created all of nature, to the wonder of new life expected.
No matter how much you try to plan something, the outcome is never in your hands. Thankfully we serve an awesome God who always know best.
Luan and I initially planned a surprise picnic on friends of mine’s farm just outside Hartenbos, thank you dear Karien for all your help. Everything was set, decor rented, food bought and a beautiful bottle of sparkling wine. The weather was however hectic, rain pouring out every now and again. At the last moment we opted for a spot at Pinnacle Point were Luan and Deidré was staying for a weekend away. I met Luan at Pinnacle three hours before the planned session while Deidré was out for a bit of pampering with Marojean de Bod from MJ Artistry. Once Luan saw the beautiful scenery, as you exit the walkway tunnel, he knew this was the perfect spot to propose.
We were blessed with a break in the rainy weather and the most beautiful light by the time Luan and Deidré arrived. It was such a special moment and surely blessed as everything turned out perfect. Congratulations and thank you that I had the honour to capture this awesome moment. I cannot wait to capture your wedding next year in Swellendam, one of my favourite towns in South Africa.
The wonder of expecting your first child, few thing in life can compare to this. I love everything about this session. Gorgeous couple, beautiful scenery and perfect light. Enjoy these last few days awaiting her birth!
Another awesome session with the beautiful Andries family. I am blessed with so many awesome returning clients. Thank you for sharing a little bit of your family life with me.
Family. Such a familiar, simple word, but yet so complex. What would life be without family? We should treasure the ones God gave us and make the most of the time we have with them. Loved working with this beautiful family!
Meeting Helgard and Melissa felt like seeing long time friends again. I felt right at ease with this young, fun filled couple. Not even the wind and rain could mute their bubbly personalities. Looking forward to capture their wedding day!
We are facing such unknown, uncertain times today. It is easy to be overwhelmed by all the negativity. Then days like these lift your spirits and make you excited about the future. Thank you dear Daniel and Chrizandré for an awesome session. Little Abby is a blessed little girl to have parents like you awaiting her arrival.
What started out as an early morning family session ended in a beautiful surprise for Leandri. For Dusty this truly was a case of ‘nothing can keep me away from you’ as he did not want to wait any longer to pop the question. Such a beautiful day with gorgeous light, stunning scenery and love all around. It was an honour to share such a blessed morning with you all, thank you!
Perfect way to end off a family holiday, despite the fact that they had to cut their time short to be back home in time for the nation wide lockdown. Thank your for sharing this precious time with me, it was a pleasure meeting you all.
Beautiful people, gorgeous light and perfect locations, what is there not to like! Thank you for sharing some precious family time with me before the rush back home before the nation wide lockdown. Hope to see you all again.
Tristan and René travelled to the Garden Route for friends’s wedding and made use of this opportunity to have an engagement session on the beach. Such a sweet couple, I enjoyed this session so much. Best wishes for the big day, your wedding photographer is going to have a blast!
