Booking sessions on the beach during the busy holiday season is kind off risky. The wind was just horrible and we could not reschedule, so I am very thankful for the option of a studio facility. Marissa and her family came all the way from Gauteng to visit the Garden Route for the holliday season. I worked with Marissa 14 years ago, and at that time we both were expecting our second child, it is hard to believe they are both turning 15 in 2017. It was an honour to capture your beautiful family and it was great to see you again. Your girls are so gorgeous! Enjoy the rest of your holiday and travel home safely.
Love the classic feel of these images from a recent mom and daughter studio session. I strongly feel that studio portraits still have a valid place in the photography industry and should not be forgotten. There is something timeless about them and all the focus is on the subject and not lost in the scenery of location sessions.
The absolute beauty of an expecting mother! We initially planned a session in the forest with a few beach photos afterwards, but things do not always work out as planned.
