I love the natural feel of this session, no pretending, just pure family fun! Susi plays a very important part in my family’s life, she is an amazing vet and always there with so much love and care for our four legged family members. It was a pleasure to do something for her!
Baby girl Mieke is already loved abundantly! Daddy-to-be could not suppress his joy, it was so sweet to see. Thank you for sharing this precious time with me. Enjoy little Mieke and look after her for she is a precious gift from God.
This was a last minute booking. I met this family yesterday when we did a portrait session with the extended family celebrating the mom of the family’s 80th birthday. I was almost late returning from the first session of the day but the timing was perfect and we were blessed with gorgeous light! Perfect session to end of a very busy weekend.
I can hardly wait to see what this family is planning for this beautiful farm! Thank you for inviting me to such a gorgeous place to capture these portraits for you. I loved every minute with you all and hope to see you again.
Second large family session for the day with the Buitendag family. They have one of our best local tea gardens in the area, Die Oupastorie Groot Brakrivier. If you have not been there before, treat yourself and go have a look.
I just love the location we selected for their family portraits, it suited this stunning family perfect! Treasure these precious times of all being together, family is so precious.
It is never easy to let your kids go, but it is so exciting to see how they follow their dreams and work hard to achieve them. I am blessed to share this new phase in my life with so many other moms around me. Thank you Yvonne for asking me to capture these portraits for you. Best wishes to Tristan for this new life adventure and I hope these images wil lessen the heartache when missing him.
Susan and I became friends when we moved to the beautiful Garden Route. Hard to believe when we met our oldest kids were only in grade two and now they have left the nest. Sad but exciting times. I pray that they will stay safe, be blessed and live to the fullest!
Estie contacted me for a family session while their whole family was together over a weekend in July. I was already booked for both the Friday and Saturday afternoon so we opted for a early morning session on the beach, not to early though as the ladies wanted to get ready and there is a little one in the family. I prefer late afternoon session so I do hope that I will see them all again to do a proper late afternoon session. But with such a handsome bunch the time of day does not matter, they will always make gorgeous portraits!
